Imago School of Acting:
The IMAGO MEDIA COMPANY was established by its Directors, Barry John and Sanjay Sujitabh, in April 1997, and its status was enhanced to a private limited company in October 1998. The company was initially located in Brahma Studio, Film City, Noida, but in June 2002 shifted to new premises in Sudhan Bhavan, Saidulajab, in south Delhi. In March 2007, a further relocation brought the company to Kotia Nirman, Andheri West, in Mumbai. A ten-year period of intense activity and growth has seen the company fulfill its objectives and become a name synonymous with professionalism of the highest quality. Operations began with the establishment of the IMAGO ACTING SCHOOL, which offered the most comprehensive and effective short-term training courses available anywhere, and attracted aspiring actors from all over India and abroad.

Courses:
1. Full Time Diploma Course:
Duration - 3 months
The timings are Mon to Fri from 9am to 5pm.
2. Part Time Certificate Course:
Duration - 3 months
The timings are Sat and Sun from 10am to 1 pm.
3. Summer Workshops for children and adults (May/June)
Duration - 1 month
4. Young Actors Club (Weekends)
Duration - 6 months
5. Drama Teachers Training Course (Weekends)
Duration - 6 months
Language used is Bilingual i.e both Hindi and English will be used.
The courses are practical and experiential, and designed to equip aspiring actors with the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in the media of theatre, television and film.

- Documentation on film of all major exercises and performances for purposes of analysis. Compiled into a showcase CD and presented to each student upon completion of a course.
- Training in a professional film-shooting project. The film is edited and included in the students’ showcase CDs.
- Along with a Diploma or Certificate and a showcase CD, each student receives a Report detailing grades for each unit of study, an overall grade, assessment of all criteria of training, and teachers’ comments.
- Successful students are automatically registered with the Imago Casting Agency, whose function is to assist in the securing of professional engagements and contracts.
- Opportunities for further development are available through the range of allied specialization workshops that cover direction, design and scriptwriting, or through membership of the Imago Theatre Group (a registered society) or the Imago Theatre-in-Education Company.
