The Indian Institute of Journalism & New Media (IIJNM) is a leading post-graduate school of journalism and media in Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka in Southern India. We offer one-year diploma and post-graduate diploma programs which allow students to specialize in print journalism, broadcast journalism or multimedia journalism. We welcome Indian and international students.
Our curriculum has been developed in association with Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, New York. It combines theory and practical training to prepare its graduates for positions in the media industry. Our students get the opportunity to complete an internship (work experience placement) in their respective fields for 2 weeks to 2 months. IIJNM also has a very active placement program which prepares the student to apply and interview for their first career job in journalism.
Both diploma programs consist of core courses including advanced seminars, electives, media workshops and a master's thesis project. Depending on the type of diploma program, the requirements for graduation vary.

The IMAGO MEDIA COMPANY was established by its Directors, Barry John and Sanjay Sujitabh, in April 1997, and its status was enhanced to a private limited company in October 1998. The company was initially located in Brahma Studio, Film City, Noida, but in June 2002 shifted to new premises in Sudhan Bhavan, Saidulajab, in south Delhi. In March 2007, a further relocation brought the company to Kotia Nirman, Andheri West, in Mumbai.
A ten-year period of intense activity and growth has seen the company fulfill its objectives and become a name synonymous with professionalism of the highest quality. Operations began with the establishment of the IMAGO ACTING SCHOOL, which offered the most comprehensive and effective short-term training courses available anywhere, and attracted aspiring actors from all over India and abroad.
