English Language School in Dublin, Ireland
The Dublin Language Institute: The Dublin Language Institute is one of the older established language schools in Dublin (1988) and is recognised by the Department of Education. It is situated a short walk from the centre on a wide, tree-lined street of the old Georgian-style housing. The building, itself, is ‘listed’ as one of architectural merit and is within a preservation area. It retains many original features, both inside and outside.
Location and Facilities:
Ireland is an island to the west of Britain and Europe. It has a temperate climate: moist but seldom very cold. It has a small population and, despite modern development, has much green and very beautiful scenery in a land dotted with historic and pre-historic buildings or remains. These vary from the stone-age Newgrange (built before some of the pyramids), through the medieval period of Norman castles, to the Victorian building stock of the 19th century.
The country has much to offer. Outside the capital and the main towns, this comparatively empty country has much to offer of interest to those interested in outdoor pursuits (walking, boating, golfing, etc) and those who seek satisfaction in other ways, through music, song and dance – or as the Irish say, the ‘crack’.
