 The DLTC is an English & foreign language school based
in the beautiful seaside town of Dun Laoghaire, just 20 minutes from
Dublin, the capital of Ireland. All our English classes focus on
communication skills (speaking, listening,
reading and writing) as well as English grammar,
but a special emphasis is placed on language
production - you won't learn a language if you
don't use it!
For this reason, our teachers encourage students
to speak as much as possible about subjects that
are relevant to them - and with small classes
(average of only 8 students per class), students
are guaranteed time to speak and to be listened
to!
All our language teachers are well experienced
and qualified to Department of Education &
Science required standards, as well as having
years of experience teaching English as a
foreign language both in Ireland and abroad. So
whether you want to improve your general English
or prepare for Cambridge exams such as the First
Certificate, CAE or IELTS, we have the
