Evening Italian Courses Overview
- These are either 10 or 20 week evening courses (20 or 40 hours) that take place one night per week 7.15-9.15pm. .
- Classes focus mostly on 'spoken Italian' though grammar etc. is covered.
- Class sizes are small with on average 7 to 10 students per class so that each student receives good attention from the teacher and maximum opportunity to practise speaking the language.
- The teachers are all qualified, native speakers and experienced.
- If you are unsure of your level, please contact us and we can arrange for a free level assessment a teacher. These assessments are oral and may be done over the phone if preferred.
- As places are limited to a maximum of 11 students on these courses, bookings should be made well in advance and bookings can only be confirmed when the fee is paid. Bookings and payments should not be made on the day a course is due to begin as places cannot be guaranteed.
- Courses are subject to demand and availabilty.

Level 1 - Beginners
Aim: At the end of the course you will be able to ask and give personal information, make bookings, order in a shop or restaurant.

Speech topics:
Ask and say your name and surname
Ask and say your profession
Ask and say what you do and where you work
Ask and say your address, e-mail address and telephone number
Express your interests, likes and dislikes
Ask for things in a shop
Order in a restaurant

Level 2 - Elementary
Aim: At the end of the course you will be able to talk about the present, the past and perhaps about some future events.

Speech topics:
Making a hotel booking
Asking for prices
Renting an apartament
Describing an apartament
Asking for general information and directions
Taking about the past and present
