Irish College Of English:
The Irish College of English is located in a beautiful coastal town of Dublin, Malahide, in North Dublin. Close to the airport and the city centre, we are in an ideal location for learning English. Malahide is a safe friendly, afluent area and all our host family accommodation is within the area. The Irish College of English International Youth Summer School for children aged 13 to 18 takes place every summer from June to August.

The camp attracts students from all over the world and it is a great opportunity for students to improve their English and grow to love the language by living it. Students stay with host families within easy reach of the school and attend classes in the mornings and participate in afternoon activities. The Irish College of English is recognised by the Department of Education as a year round school for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language.
Sports & Cultural Activities:
Our Youth Summer School Programme offers young teenagers and high school students the ideal balance of study and leisure. Cultural tours and excursions as well as discos/Irish dancing are an essential part of the programme. In addition students have the opportunity to play sports including football, tennis, par 3 golf, basketball and bowling among others.
Youth Student Accommodation:
Students are placed in the Malahide / Swords or surrounding area and are within easy reach of the summer schools (normally walking distance). Full board is provided with an Irish Host Family. Breakfast, packed lunch and an evening meal are provided with emphasis on a balanced nutritious diet. Student welfare is our main concern and we choose our families very carefully to ensure maximum comfort. In addition, we have a Home Stay Charter in place which clearly sets out standards and our policies concerning all home stays. The student may be placed with other International Students thus developing new friendships with young people from all over the world.
Summer English Courses:This International Youth Programme 2007 is designed to offer the Student a good balance of Tuition, Culture and Leisure. While courses are based on 4 week programmes, stays of 2 & 3 weeks can be arranged. Our student feedback is excellent and we continue to strive to make our summers the highlight of the summer. We offer flexible start dates so students can start whenever it is convenient.
