Kappa Language School, Rome:
Based in the historic Colosseum area of Rome, Kappa Language School provides basic beginner to advanced level Italian language courses to students and professionals from around the world. We offer general Italian courses, intensive courses, PLIDA Italian language certification classes, private Italian lessons, and specialized Spring & Summer programs.
A Homestay option with an Italian family is also available as part of your studies.

Founder and President of Kappa, Federico attained a DITALS Certificate for teaching Italian as a Second and Foreign Language in 2009, and has taught with “Villa Giada” Institute and the “Mentore” Foundation.
- Enrico Piciarelli
Enrico graduated in Italian Language and Literature at the “Roma Tre” University, and completed a Masters Degree in history of Italian Language and Comparative Literature. From 2006 to 2009 he cooperated with “Bambini nel Tempo”, a Children's Therapeutic Aid Society.
Our Teaching Method:
We advocate a Communicative-Situational approach - where grammatical content is associated to a daily conversational situation, serving both as a motivating element and the lesson's aim. Original and purposefully-created learning material is often used.

Accommodation Options:
We offer our students the chance to find a comfortable accommodation in the city center at a very convenient price. Students can choose between the following options:
Homestay (2-person shared room)
Spend your time in Italy with an Italian family: the best way to improve your Italian! Apartments for homestay are generally located in the Monteverde, Trastevere Colosseo or Prati areas, all well connected with the school's neighbourhood (Colosseo) by subway, tram or bus.
Apartment (Single and Double)
All accommodations are located in the city centre and served by bus, tram and subway lines. The distance may vary from less than 1km to 5km maximum, so be sure to rent in advance, especially during high season. Students may choose to rent a single or double room, with private or shared bathroom.
