language to learn. At ABC Language Exchange we
also make sure you learn in an effective way.
This means teaching you practical, spoken

Nuovo Centro Italiano
Nuovo Centro Italiano is an Italian language resource center in Seattle, Washington focusing exclusively on Italian language instruction, translation and consultation. The staff is comprised of highly experienced native speakers who share many years of working as intercultural facilitators helping people in Washington State as well as Italy. We are a small, independent operation specializing in matters related to the Italian language. Our office is centrally located in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood on 15th Avenue East, a block north of Group Health hospital, near Volunteer Park.

Seattle Language Academy (SLA)
Seattle Language Academy (SLA) is a non-profit language school in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle offering both group classes and individual lessons in foreign languages and in English as a second language. Classes and private tutoring are available in Italian, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish. Seattle Language Academy also offers instruction in Latin and Ancient Greek. The SLA curriculum consists of a first-year series (101-104), a second-year series (201-204), and, for some languages, advanced reading and conversation classes (300 series). Each of the first two series, 101-104 and 201-204, corresponds roughly to one year of college instruction.

The Italian Cultural Center, a non-profit organization, sponsors Italian language classes in Chicago, IL for Adults and Children. The Center is ideally and centrally located in the heart of many adjacent Italian communities and also near O'Hare International Airport. The building is located two blocks east of Mannheim Road (Route 45) and two blocks south of North Avenue (Route 64).

Children's classes are held in various locations throughout the Chicagoland area - the year long program runs for 30 weeks (one hour per week). |

Dante Alighieri Society of Washington
In 1984, the Italian Language Program was successfully initiated in Seattle under the directorship of the local chapter of the Dante Alighieri Society. Since that year, the Italian Language Program of the Dante Alighieri Society of Washington has grown as the ideal place to learn Italian Language and Culture in Seattle. Our classes are held on the campus of Seattle University. However, the Dante Alighieri Society - Italian Language Program is a self-sustaining autonomous program independent of Seattle University.

Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter, four levels of Italian: introductory conversation, elementary, intermediate, and advanced. Each course begins in October and lasts thirty weeks (three quarters) except the introductory conversation course which is 10 weeks long and repeats. Classes meet twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
