We provide one-year postgraduate diploma (masters) programs in Florence to students from around the world who already have a university degree. You do not need to speak Italian in order to attend the Accademia Italiana.

- Fashion Design: Master's Program in Fashion as Art - Taught in English:
Today, art has exceeded its traditional boundaries to occupy new territories including that of fashion. Based on the conviction that clothing can be an artistic fact, we offer this 1-year Fashion Design master course with the aim of developing the design capabilities and the professionalism of those students who have already acquired the necessary basic techniques. The training process involves contact with fashion designers and industries, the study of the strategies linked to visual communication and to the use of media, the design and production of clothing and of accessories.

Course Subjects:  Fashion design: theory and history; Clothing laboratory: design and practice; Fashion Accessory design; Media and visual communication; Participation in fashion shows and exhibitions; Stage in industries and companies (according to request and availability); Seminars / Guided visits.

- Interior Design and Product Design Master's Program - Taught in English:
This 1-year master's program explores new possibilities in innovative interior and product design. Projects will involve domestic spaces and commercial spaces as well as the design object intended as furniture or objects of everyday use. The project is developed in every aspect from the concept to the technological choice, the use of materials and the study of colors.

- Advanced Course (pre-MBA) in Design and Business - Taught in Italian:
This 1-year Master program is held in Florence and is aimed at students who have already earned a university degree. It has been developed in collaboration with LaSalle University, Philadelphia, a prestigious US university. Starting in October each year, the program unites the studies of finance and economics with the design industry, directing its attention at the world of fashion and the production of design objects. It is ideal for students who plan on undertaking one of the creative professions requiring managerial and entrepreneurial preparation. On completion, you will be awarded a Graduate Business Certificate.
