For over twenty years it has been one of the leading European fashion design and art schools for artistic, professional and linguistic training at post-secondary and university level. Each Institute is characterized by a specific academic program content. The Florence school is centered on programs of fashion design, of interior and product design, graphic design, textile design, window displays design and courses of art, etc.

The Accademia Italiana proposes 4 different kinds of study programs. Each kind is directed at a precise training necessity. The Academic Courses are divided into 6 academic semesters (3 years of study) except for the Textile Design program (2 years of study), the Window Displays program (2 semesters) and the Drawing and Painting program (of variable length).

Students enrolled with Arcadia will be immersed in an international environment, where they will live and study with students from all over Italy and all over the world. A wide variety of liberal arts and studio arts courses are offered in English language, while a vast assortment of design courses at all levels are available taught in Italian and English.
The Accademia Italiana collaborates with some of the most important art and design universities in the world, and with important companies internationally. This international flavor favors cultural exchange and the development of new ideas that has always characterized the activities of the Institute.
