Study graphic design and visual communications in the beautiful and historic cities of Rome & Florence! Accademia Italiana offers a bachelor of arts degree course in Graphic Design & Visual Communication which is made up of six academic semesters (3 years) with each year corresponding to a different level: basic, professional and advanced. You do not need to speak Italian in order to attend the Accademia Italiana. This is a dual qualification course; On successful graduation, you earn a B.A. (Hons) degree from the University of Wales, a leading UK university, as well as an advanced diploma from Accademia Italiana.

B.A. (Hons) in Graphic Design & Visual Communication - 3 years:
This program integrates traditional graphic design artist training (illustration, lay-out, poligraphic techniques for publishing) together with the development of graphic design directed towards new multi-media systems (internet, etc). During the course, you will enjoy encounters with professionals and experts in the field, as well as external visits and participation in exhibitions.

Course Content:  Graphic design; Color techniques; Images and illustration; Life drawing; Geometric drawing; Lettering; Analysis of styles; Publishing techniques (technology and materials); Photography (theory and practice); Editorial design; Computer graphics; Semiotics; Animations 3D; Graphic arts and advertising; Design of the coordinated image; Visual merchandising; Visual communication; Marketing and trends; Color theory; Internet laboratory.

Certification:  At the end of each academic year, a specific certificate or diploma is awarded upon successful completion of all relative exams. At the end of the third year the Accademia Italian awards its diploma and the University of Wales awards its bachelor of arts degree.
