Scuola Tricolore is an accredited Italian
language school in Genoa, an historical city
located in Liguria on the north-west
Mediterranean coast of Italy and in the middle
of the Italian Riviera, close to Portofino and
San Remo. Scuola Tricolore is about studying
Italian in a professional manner yet with fun
and interaction in a beautiful area of Italy.
Accreditation:
The courses of Scuola Tricolore have been
recognised / accredited by Universidad de Las
Americas (Mexico), Bildungsurlaub Hamburg,
Schleswig-Holstein, Brandenburg and the Swedish
CSN. Scuola Tricolore is also an official
training centre for the language department of
the University of Genova. Students participating
in the Master of Italian Didactics for
Foreigners, attend their internship training at
our school.
Courses:
Our courses are divided between group courses and individual courses. According to your needs and preferences, you can choose to attend either a group course, individual classes or a mixed course, a flexible combination of both. Group courses have a great atmosphere and are very sociable, individual classes are more intense and provide faster learning, while mixed courses provide all the advantages of both courses.
We cover all levels from A1 to C2, Absolute Beginners, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Pre-advanced, Advanced, following the Assessment Grid of the European Language Portfolio (ELP).
Our flexible system allows us to customise any individual lesson according to each student's interest or professional background.
Our subjects cover a wide range of topics: Law, Engineering, Architecture, Medicine, Tourism, Business, Italian Literature, Italian History, Italian Geography, Italian Art, Italian Cinema, Italian Culture and Politics, Italian Cuisine, Italian Music History and Opera.

old port city. Along with this rich cultural history,
Genoa has the largest medieval city centre in Europe, which recently has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage list of protected areas.
Genoa Airport is well connected by the major airlines to cities such as London, Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt, Munich, and there are daily flight connections to all the major Italian locations - Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples, Sardinia, Sicily etc. Genoa offers an affordable cost of living and a very mild climate all year round.
