Basic Courses
Basic or fundamental courses are for students who are considering a new career within the fashion industry and wish to learn the basic essentials necessary to become a fashion expert.
- Fashion Styling - This course explores the meaning of fashion and style as well as the history of fashion and stylists through the years.
- Image Consulting - Subjects covered include image analysis, color analysis, body and facial shape, hair styles and make-up, wardrobe management.
- Fashion Photography Fundamental/Advanced - Subjects covered include Film / Digital photography, Digital post-production, Fashion photography, Advertising photography, Outdoor photography.
- Fashion Make up Fundamental/Advanced - As well as learning about make-up for every part of the face, this course covers the history of make-up, special effects and tools.
- Fashion Hair styling Fundamental/Advanced - Subjects covered include hair styling tools, updo hairstyles, extensions, history of fashion hairstyles.
Trends Courses
Provides advanced preparation and training for fashion professionals who wish to specialize in a certain area or improve their general knowledge.
- Fashion Make up Trends. Students will be able to envision the newest trends in runway or magazine make-up and incorporate them imaginatively with their fashion knowledge. This will guide them through preparation of their make-up portfolio for presentation to agencies and publishers.
- Fashion Hair styling Trends. Subjects included are Current fashion hair styles for both catwalk and fashion magazines, computer-enhanced hair styling and portfolio preparation.
- Personal Shopper. Subjects included are Professional clothing, Fashion brands, Accessories and building of client relationships.
- Fashion Photography Trends. Subjects included are Fashion Show Photography, Fashion Magazine Photography, Photoshop editing, Casting for Models / Locations, Storyboard Creation.
Beauty Look maker (6 months)
This course aims at preparing students to become professional Beauty Lookmakers, a figure in the fashion world able to create and personalize every look.
The course provides the tools and knowledge of make-up, hair-styling and image consulting.
Other courses offered include
- Fashion World Styling (1 year). Subjects covered include Marketing in fashion, introduction to commercial fashion, producing a fashion show and portfolio preparation
- Fashion Illustration Design (3 year). The program is focused on the training students both as fashion designers and graphic artists using of the specific tools of the discipline (graphic illustrations, drawings, sketches, models, photography, graphics, video etc.), plus research and development of a personal path and creative project with the production of a personal professional book.
* Courses are held in Italian with simultaneous translation in English. The single courses last 12 or 24 days. The professional look maker courses last 6 months and 1 year.
