Summer Design Courses in Milan, Italy
 Students, new designers and professionals from
around the world are invited for the first time
to enrol in a unique opportunity to study across
two major design capitals during summer 2007.
The London Milan 2007 Dual City Summer Sessions
continue to build on the success of their
original design summer courses offered over 4
weeks in July 2007 between London and Milan.

London: Monday 2 July to Thursday 12 July 2007
with Central Saint Martins
Milan: Tuesday 17 July to Friday 27 July 2007
with Domus Academy and Nuova Accademia di Belle
Arti (NABA)
Milan, the second city of Italy, is located on
the flat plains of the northern province of
Lombardy, surrounded by an arc of mountains and
lakes. It is a world renowned centre for
fashion, design, finance, industry and football.
It has great museums, a huge castle, one of the
largest Gothic cathedrals in the world. Milan
combines hard work and high fashion with the
haute couture houses of Armani and Dolce and
Gabbana as revered captains of industry. The
circuit of annual fashion shows and design fairs
and exhibitions attracts many international
visitors and celebrities. Despite its work
orientated persona as Italy’s economic
powerhouse, Milan has lots of gems hidden away.

Domus Academy - For more than 20 years, Domus
Academy in Milan has shared an eminent place on
the world stage as an international postgraduate
school.
NABA - The Milan sections of the beginner
courses are run by NABA (Nuova Accademia di
Belle Arti). NABA is an academy of arts and
design which was formed in 1980 by a group of
artists, aimed at challenging the rigid academic

Interior Design Studio, Product Design studio.
Our STUDIO courses are hands-on practical
courses suitable for beginners and portfolio
builders – perfect for students planning on
applying for further study. Each subject area
includes courses in London and Milan, students
must enrol for both sessions.
Our ADVANCED courses complement each other often
looking at the same branch of design from
completely different angles. Suitable for
students who have completed at least two years
of a degree in a related subject or
professionals working in the field who need a
boost. Students may enrol for the corresponding
sessions in London and Milan or choose just one
course in London or Milan
