 English International Language and Services (EILS), established in 2001, is a language school in the heart of Alghero, considered to be one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the north-west of Sardinia, Italy. Our school offers language courses to both Italian and English mother-tongue students of all ages. The request for Italian courses in particular has continued to grow over the years, also owing to the increase of British holiday makers and residents who are discovering Alghero as a result of Ryan Air's popular year round direct flights into Alghero from London Stanstead.
Whether you are on holiday or already living here in Alghero, our school can offer you a choice of various Italian courses combined with several local visits and excursions in order to take Italian out of the classroom and into the lives, history, architecture, and food and wine of Alghero and its people. All classes are small in size, in order to maximize learning and meet the individual needs of students.
Courses
Courses are normally 18/10 hours per week running Monday through Friday. They give ample space to the development of the 4 linguistic skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing without neglecting the study of grammar, vocabulary and the teaching of diverse phrases and expressions used in the context of "Everyday Italian". Individual tuition is available.
