We offer various terms of programs according to student requests. We teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing with equal emphasis. Most of students master up to intermediate level of conversation within 3 months.

- Intensive Japanese Course: Long-term course for Japanese university preparation. A Student Visa is needed. The programs cover Basic to High Advanced levels. Students receive high quality lessons with our certified teachers, and cover Listening, Pronunciation, Speaking, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Writing skills. The program is designed for students who would like to gain enough language skills to enter University, or to work in Japan after graduation. Not only do we support our students to gain vital language skills, but also to enjoy and understand Japanese culture.

- Short-Term Japanese Course: 3 month, 2 month and 1 month General Japanese Courses, designed for students who do not intend to go to university in Japan, or students from overseas who already live in Japan, but do not have sufficient language skills. Students cover Listening, Pronunciation, Speaking, Reading, Grammar & Vocabulary, and Writing skills, and can learn daily conversation with native teachers, or may want to try to achieve a high enough score on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. There is no set starting date, as long as student has already covered an average level of Japanese.

- Homestay Program - Stay with a Japanese host family.

NILS is located in Ogori City, Fukuoka, about 30 minutes from Fukuoka City, in the south-west of Japan (in the Kyushu region). Fukuoka City is a bustling city of modern buildings, that offers a number of important museums and sites to visit, as well as beautiful scenery and  a moderate climate. Fukuoka International Airport is one of the most conveniently located airports of Japan, very close to Fukuoka city, and is the one of biggest International gateways for the whole of Asia.

The area surrounding the school is very quiet, and it is the perfect place for any student to study. Things are calm, and the scenery is beautiful. When it\'s time to go out, students can enjoy the convenience of simply hopping on board a train and enjoying all of the benefits of being near a large city.

Our student dormitories are within walking distance of school. Each room is furnished with own bed, bedclothese,air-conditioner, desk and chair, TV, laundry, microwave, vacuum cleaner and so on. Bathroom and kitchen are shared. Homestay accommodation is also available.
