Programs:
Total immersion in the Japanese language, with native Japanese teachers who have degrees and years of experience teaching Japanese as a foreign language. Total Beginner to Advanced classes are available.
- Japanese Language & Culture Immersion Programs: Summer - Fall - Winter - Spring.
Students who are new to Japanese learn effective communication skills quickly; advanced students learn how to express themselves at an abstract level. To provide the most comprehensive curriculum, total programs combine core language classes with language and culture workshops, and languageexchange with native Japanese speakers.
The immersion programs integrate all aspects of the language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics, and vocabulary. Accelerated teaching methods allow participants at lower proficiency levels to acquire the language skills needed for effective communication in a short period of time, and advanced students to gain expression proficiency at an abstract level. Topics studied include everyday situations and Japanese culture, society, and history.
- Japanese Language & Martial Arts Program:
This program is ideal for those who wish to combine their Japanese Language studies with Martial Arts training. Japanese language classes focus on developing listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation. Train in traditional Japanese martial arts, Karate or Judo, in the land of their origins.
- Homestay Program:
Stay with a Japanese host family.
