Intensive Japanese Courses:
All of our Japanese courses focus on the four key language skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our intensive Japanese courses give you the opportunity to study for 25, 30, or 35 hours per week and are more popular with students who have a limited amount of time or would like more intensive language study.

At the beginning of your course, your language level will be assessed and you will be placed in an appropriate group. Levels are beginner to advanced with courses taking place Monday to Friday. Courses usually begin the first Monday of every week for students with some foreign language knowledge, while beginner courses usually start the first Monday of every month. Our language courses focus on building communication skills, with comprehension skills playing a large part of the communication process. 

Academic Intensive Japanese Program:
The Academic Intensive Japanese Program (AIJP) prepares students for professional careers requiring advanced Japanese, and for successful entry into Japanese language undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It is about 20% more intense than most accredited programs offered in Japan. Grammar is a major focus.
