Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts:
The Revere Academy in San Francisco is a professional jewelry school where master craftsmen pass on their skills and knowledge to students of all levels. Beginners and hobbyists as well as experienced working bench jewelers come for dozens of short intensive classes (1-5 days) and diploma programs (2-4 months). The Revere Academy occupies a suite with an incredible view on the 9th floor of the Phelan Building, San Francisco's historic jewelry building. Within walking distance there is an abundance of hotels, restaurants, museums, shops and transportation, in what many call "America's favorite city."

Revere Academy instructors are working professionals who use the skills they teach everyday. Classes are limited to 15 students to give instructors plenty of time to answer all of your questions. Our state-of-the-art classrooms feature a live video blow up of the instructors' hands during demonstrations, so that students can see every detail. Learn fabrication, casting, design, metalsmithing, repair, stone setting, polishing, wax carving, mold making, marketing, gem identification, keum boo, and much, much more!


Programs
The Revere Academy is authorized by the State of California to award diplomas to students who complete either of three prescribed programs. The diploma programs are preparation for the JA® Level One: Certified Bench Jeweler Technician or the JA® Level Two: Certified Bench Jeweler.

- Jewelry Technician - a condensed program of 11 classes totaling 235 hours of instruction focused on the essential bench skills needed to enter the field.
- Jewelry Technician Intensive - offers the same diploma as the Jewelry Technician. However, it is 85 hours longer.
- Graduate Jeweler - a well-rounded program of 22 classes. The program covers a range of professional skills as a foundation for a career in jewelry.

Short Classes include: Romantic Ring Shanks, Soldering Basics, Wire Wrapping & Forming, Forged Rings, Heavy Bezels, Keum-boo, Marketing and Introduction to Platinum.
