International School in Malaysia - Preschool, Primary & Secondary Schools
 Ipoh International School is an international
day school with residential facilities for
outstation/overseas students. It offers both the
British National Curriculum (IGCSE) and the
Malaysian KBSM/KBSR programme. At present, there
are more than 600 students who make up its
multi-ethnic enrolment drawn from more than 25
countries. English is the official and social
language of the school.
Located in a leafy five-acre site in Ipoh City,
the school has a tradition of scholastic and
co-curricular excellence. The tuition and
residential fees are very much lower than in
other international schools in
Malaysia/Singapore. The school offers the best
traditions of British schools in a multi-ethnic
environment. It also gives its students
excellent opportunities to learn additional
languages, notably Chinese and Malay.
The school has access to the sports facilities
of Meru Valley Resort which include swimming,
golfing, jungle-trekking and fitness training.
The school stresses family and community values.
Our students are encouraged to take
responsibilty for their lives and for their
future. "Live to learn, learn to live" is very
strong theme in our school ethos. We are also
committed towards moulding our students towards
being builders of bridges in a multiethnic,
multifaith world.
Courses

Secondary School Year 11 (British National
Curriculum leading to IGCSE Malaysian KBSR/KBSM.
The school is exploring the possibility of
offering the STPM/Cambridge "A" levels as well
as the International Baccalaureate commencing
2007.
