EC Malta:
EC Malta is an English language school located in St. Julians, a charming coastal tourist resort, north of the capital Valletta. We offer a range of English courses for all ages and levels from beginner to advanced. These courses include a Work and Study programme which combines English courses with unpaid internships / work experience placements. We also offer intensive English, exam preparation for the TOEFL, IELTS and Cambridge exams and business English classes. EC Malta is one of the few English language schools to hold the international ISO 9001 quality accreditation.

Work & Study in Malta:
The Work & Study programmes offered by EC Malta consist of unpaid internships / work placements which are combined either with a short English course or taken as part of a ‘sandwich’ course. An internship in an English speaking environment will provide you with excellent opportunities when applying for jobs, both abroad and in your own country. You will gain practical skills, and increase your awareness of international business practices.

Our internship programs are available to students over the age of 18 with a minimum English level of intermediate. Before beginning your internship you will attend an English course with EC Malta. This provides you with an opportunity to get used to life in an English speaking country and build your confidence using English.

Important note for non-EU Students: Minimum English course of 4 weeks intensive plus work placement/internship followed by a 2 weeks English course.

- Requests in other vocations are considered.

CIE Work Experience Certificate:
Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) students participating in any of the Internship programmes can apply for the standard internationally recognised CIE work experience certificate at the end of their placement.

This certificate is awarded by the University of Cambridge.
