Master of Arts Degree in Singapore
 For 37 years Sotheby's Institute of Art has been preparing students for careers in the international art world. Our degrees are awarded by the University of Manchester in the UK and combine professional training with academic study. Our location in Singapore is based at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore.
With a move to our new state-of-the-art city campus in July 2007, our new campus will also house Singapore's largest contemporary art gallery, three world-class performance spaces equipped with the latest in theatre entertainment technology; three lecture theatres; 35,000sqm of teaching space; as well as student accommodation.
The Institute has over 5,000 alumni worldwide, many of whom direct galleries, work in museums, foundations and auction houses, or pursue careers in art journalism, consulting and related professions. Many others have become collectors or enrich their lives with an informed passion for art. Graduates become members of our Alumni Association who have access to a range of services which help them with their careers.
CoursesMA programmes in Art Business and Contemporary Art. These MA programmes require two semesters of full-time study plus a third semester of independent study to complete a research dissertation. Applications may be sent to us throughout the year before the course start date on 3 September 2007. Day Courses and 3 to 4-day overseas travel programmes visiting art centres of Asia.
