San Miguel de Allende has been declared national
monument. This colonial gem is situated
about 160 miles north of Mexico City and remains
in 2001 a relatively untouched antique city of
the old world. There is a blessed absence of
traffic lights, parking meters, billboards, and
neon signs. The city seems free from the
pressures of modern living. San Miguel de

Colonial style. This small, quiet, charming town
with its mild weather and slow pace is sure to
capture your heart. From your first stroll down
the cobbled streets of San Miguel Allende, you

Our standard program
runs every 4 weeks (28 hrs/wk with max. 10 students). Each one-month
term includes 80 hours of intensive Spanish in a
classroom of 10 students maximum and 36 hours of
seminars, working groups, Mexican cooking
classes and guided tours of San Miguel.
