 Institute of Modern Spanish
The Institute of Modern Spanish is located in the cosmopolitan city of Merida, Yucatan. Merida is the famous colonial gateway to the Maya ruins of Chichen Itza and Uxmal. Just as the ancient and colonial can be contrasted with the modernity of Merida, so can the large city atmosphere be contrasted to the family oriented and low crime aspect of Merida. Since 1995 the Institute of Modern Spanish has been dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of Spanish language students in the Merida, Yucatan. The Institute of Modern Spanish has served students of all ages and ability levels from all parts of the world - accommodating both individual students and groups of any size.
