Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced levels of adult group Italian lessons, corporate/company classes, private Italian lessons, semi-private classes, cross-cultural programs, kids' Italian classes - home tutoring, after-school programs.
Beginner: Acquiring basic grammar and vocabulary with the present tense to develop basic conversational and practical skills.
Knows the present tense and basic vocabulary/grammatical structures. Will learn all other verb tenses and accumulate vocabulary while working with advanced grammatical structures to communicate effectively about all aspects of daily life.
Intermediate: Knows the present tense and basic vocabulary/grammatical structures. Will learn all other verb tenses and accumulate vocabulary while working with advanced grammatical structures to communicate effectively about all aspects of daily life.
Total Beginner Italian Group Classes:
Acquire basic grammar and vocabulary to develop basic conversational and practical skills. Total Beginner classes are designed for people with no previous exposure to the language. If you have some background in the language, or if you already speak more than one language, you will need to be assessed so that we can send you a personalized recommendation based on your background.
Standard Italian Classes meet once a week for 2 hours. (Minimum 4 / Maximum 9 students)
Early Bird Italian Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 3 / Maximum 9 students)
Above-Beginner Italian Classes
If you are not a total beginner, you are welcome to join one of our on-going Italian classes at any time.
Virtual Italian Lessons:
Virtual language lessons mean learning a language from the comfort of your own home or office. No travel time, no rushing to make it to class. Virtual language lessons are one-on-one, private lessons with your own teacher. You learn a foreign language with an Internet connection, web camera and audio headset. Just log in to Skype and meet your teacher virtually at a time convenient for you.
Private Italian Lessons:
Private lessons mean you can learn at your own pace and according to your own schedule. One-on-one lessons are also the most intensive way to immerse yourself in a foreign language. You may set up any day or time for your classes, including weekends and evening hours. The lessons may be held at your Manhattan office, home or at our language institute. Students meet with their private teacher from once a week to every day. Total immersion courses are ideal for people relocating to a foreign country and may include a cross-cultural training component.
