 The founder of Learn French New York, Sandrine S. was born and raised in France, she has taught French since 1994. LFNY has been in New York since 1999 and has served over 2580 students as well as dozens of companies and non-profits. In addition to her experience, Sandrine has graduated from L'Université Bretagne Sud in Lorient - France (Master's in French) and recently from the CNED (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère).
Sandrine is registered as a Language Teacher in the French Education Ministry and has spent the past 13 years designing and implementing a specialized curriculum based on her extensive personal experiences in both France and the U.S. Having taught children and adults both in France and New York, she is patient, flexible and willing to help you achieve your educational goals. Sandrine is the main teacher but other teachers are also available for classes.
All of our teachers are certified and native French speakers, and can design challenging, enriching, and innovative activities that address the diverse interests and needs of students. They also have experience in multicultural and inclusion classrooms. We are located Midtown West Manhattan at 261 west 35th street, between 7th and 8th avenues.Programs
Private Lessons, Semi-private Lessons & Small Group Classes (Beginner to Advanced). Intensive Classes from 4 to 5 hours per day - this program length ranges from two weeks to 2 months. Immersion Workshops, these are very quick programs designed for those who have knowledge of the language at an intermediate to advanced level. Classes are also taught off-site!
