Many people come to learn Farsi with us either privately on in a group. Some for personal reasons, others for work. Either way, get ready to learn how to speak and write the Persian language with a native teacher. Our classes focus on attaining practical language skills including speaking, listening and writing. Our ‘hands on’ approach means you use the language in class as you interact with your classmates and teacher practicing conversation. Our school is an award-winning private language school and one of the only places offering top-quality Farsi lessons.
Beginner:
Will begin learning to read and write the Arabic script and acquire basic grammar and vocabulary with the present tense to develop basic conversational and practical skills.
Intermediate:
Knows the present tense and basic grammatical structures. Will learn all other verb tenses and accumulate vocabulary while becoming proficient with the Arabic script and work with advanced grammatical structures to communicate effectively about all aspects of daily life
Standard Farsi/Persian Classes:
Standard Farsi/Persian Classes meet once a week for 2 hours. (Minimum 4 / Maximum 9 students)
Total Beginner Farsi/Persian Group Classes:
Total Beginner classes are designed for people with no previous exposure to the language. If you have some background in the language, or if you already speak more than one language, we will evaluate you so that we can send you a personalized recommendation based on your background.
Farsi/Persian Private Lessons:
Let us know your proficiency goals and we will recommend a schedule and program to meet those goals. You are welcome to organize any schedule that suits you. Private lessons mean you can learn at your own pace and according to your own schedule. One-on-one lessons are also the most intensive way to immerse yourself in a foreign language. You may set up any day or time for your classes, including weekends and evening hours. The lessons may be held at your Manhattan office, home or at our language institute. Students meet with their private teacher from once a week to every day. Total immersion courses are ideal for people relocating to a foreign country and may include a cross-cultural training component.
Virtual Farsi/Persian Lessons:
Virtual language lessons mean learning a language from the comfort of your own home or office. No travel time, no rushing to make it to class. Virtual language lessons are one-on-one, private lessons with your own teacher. You learn a foreign language with an Internet connection, web camera and audio headset. Just log in to Skype and meet your teacher virtually at a time convenient for you.
