Conveniently situated in Midtown Manhattan, ABC Languages is a premiere language institute in New York City. We provide high-quality group classes and private tutoring in a range of languages, including Spanish, French, Italian, German, Chinese, Japanese and ESL (English as a Foreign Language). We offer Spanish classes to adults, teenagers and kids of all levels - from total beginner to advanced. Day, evening and weekend lessons are available. In addition, we provide Spanish language training to companies and organizations in NYC.
Spanish Language Programs in NYC:
- Group Spanish classes for adults at beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Daytime, evening and weekend classes are available.

Total Beginner Spanish Group Classes:
Acquire basic grammar and vocabulary to develop basic conversational and practical skills. Total Beginner classes are designed for people with no previous exposure to the language. If you have some background in the language, or if you already speak more than one language, we will evaluate you so that we can send you a personalized recommendation based on your background.
- Extended Evening Classes - meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 4 / Maximum 9 students)
- Weekday Intensive Spanish Classes - meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 4 / Maximum 9 students)
- Weekend Intensive Spanish Classes - meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 4 / Maximum 9 students)
Above-Beginner Spanish Classes:
Not a total beginner? No problem! We have a rolling admission policy so you are welcome to join one of our on-going Spanish classes at any time.
Group Spanish Classes:
- Beginner: Acquiring basic grammar and vocabulary with the present tense to develop basic conversational and practical skills.
- Intermediate: Knows the present tense and basic vocabulary/grammatical structures. Will learn all other verb tenses and accumulate vocabulary while working with advanced grammatical structures to communicate effectively about all aspects of daily life.
- Advanced: Works on developing fluency in high-level conversation. Grammar review as needed.
Spanish Intro/ Travel Crash Course:
Interested in just checking out a new language before making a commitment? Our 2-hour Intro/Travel course will introduce you to Spanish and take you through the vocabulary and phrases you will need to get through a couple of typical travel situations. If you fall in love with your new language and decide to take a class with us within in 3 months, we'll waive the $50 registration fee!
