Sports School in New Zealand - Wellington Sport Management Diploma
The New Zealand Institute of Sport was established
in 1996. It provides tertiary level programmes for students wanting
to work in the sports, fitness and recreation industry. The
Institute has its campus in the centre of New Zealand's vibrant
capital, Wellington. The Institute offers several tertiary level
programmes that may prove attractive to the international student.
These include: Certificate in Exercise Prescription and Sports
Management (includes the national Certificate in Sports), NZIS
Diploma in Sport (Sport Management), NZIS Diploma in Sport (Exercise
Prescription). All these courses are for a one year duration.
They
provide those interested with a sound internationally recognised
qualification while enjoying their stay in New Zealand. In the last
few years the Institute has received a number of international
students and the need for non-English language speakers to
understand their courses led to the establishment of a language
school within the Institute named NZIS Language school. Students are
provided homestays or can choose to flat with other students.
Airport pickup, computer facilities and free Internet access are
