Instituto Hemingway:
Instituto Hemingway is situated in an exceptionally good area in Bilbao, between the Casco Viejo and Abando Station which is the city's main train station. It's an ideal location given that it is less than 5 minutes walking from the financial centre and the best hotels and shops in Bilbao.
Location and Facilities:
Bilbao is one of the largest, most vibrant cities in Spain. It is surrounded by mountains and beautiful beaches. It´s climate, with an average year-round temperature of 20ºC, is ideal. The quality of life here is one of Bilbaos' best hallmarks. Bilbao is also famous for its University student life, the "tapas" bars, its cultural attractions, its gardens, its great shopping and its beautiful buildings. Here, you will find a vibrant street-life, which is why it is sometimes referred to as "The capital of joy and satisfaction".
Instituto Hemingway offers a wide variety of modern facilities for our students. These include a Computer Room, Internet access, Library, Study Room and a Cafe. As we are conveniently located in the city center, all public facilities are within a 5 minute walk.
Accommodation:
You can choose between accommodation in a host family, a student residence or a shared flat. We will send you the address of your place of residence at least a week before the course starts, together with a map of the city. All of our accommodation options are within a maximum of a 30 minute radius from the school. The sheets, bed linen and kitchen utensils are included in the price.
Medical Insurance
Instituto Hemingway offers medical insurance at a very reasonable price.
