Spanish Language Center in Cusco is an intensive
language school with 25 years of experience
teaching language skills to students of numerous
nationalities, ages and interests. Our Spanish
program offers a variety of courses in Spanish
as a foreign language. Spanish courses for
general purposes, professional purposes and
programs for young learners. We are accredited
and recognized by the Ministry of Education in
Peru. Here is Cusco, EXCEL offers an exceptional
opportunity to study and understand the Andean
culture. The school is open all year long.
EXCEL is located in the heart of Cusco, only 3 blocks from the bustling center of the city, the Plaza de Armas. The campus surrounds a beautiful courtyard & garden, where classrooms are situated around two levels in a charming historic building. The school is surrounded by shopping, dining, transportation and communication centers all within walking distance.
Students from 5 continents representing more
than 20 different countries have learned to
speak Spanish at EXCEL. The nationality mix
changes continually and you can meet students
from the United States, Canada, Great Britain
and Australia in addition to students from
Germany, the Netherlands, France, Ireland,
Switzerland, Japan, Korea, and South Africa.Courses
Beginners Spanish, Elementary Spanish,
Intermediate Spanish, Advanced Spanish,
Intensive Conversation, Spanish for
Professionals, Spanish for children and
teenagers, Individualized Program Study. Classes offered on a
one-to-one basis, or in small groups of maximum
4 students.
All of our classes utilize an approach to
language acquisition called the Natural
Approach. The Natural approach focuses on the
development of proficiency in the four basic
communication skills: speaking listening ,
reading and writing. And because proficiency is
obtained through the four basic skills we do not
separate our courses into "conversation" and
"grammar" components.
