Therefore, a tandem conversation partner can be arranged for Spanish students. Best of all, the optional Tandem® is FREE to all ACUPARI students.

Right on your second day of classes we introduce you to a Peruvian who is studying your language: your Tandem® conversation partner. Apart from your classroom time, you and your tandem partner are going to converse in, both Spanish and your maternal language, not in the environments of a language institute but on the way, walking the city, in a museum, on excursions, etc. You and your tandem partner can also go to the market, to see the different types of fruits, what is going on in a typical market setting and much more of what you would hardly learn when coming to Cusco as a regular tourist. So that you and your tandem partner both benefit from the tandem, the time will be divided so that half the time you are practicing Spanish and half the time your maternal language.
