Courses: Our schools offer courses that
focus on the four key language skill areas of
speaking, listening, reading and writing, while
considerable attention is also placed on
pronunciation, oral communication and the
appropriate usage of language in daily

Locations:
 Lisbon is the capital and largest city of
Portugal. Its metropolitan area has a population
of over 2.5 million. One of the most enjoyable
cities of Europe, Lisbon is a place of cultural
diversity, a place where old and new come
together to create the spirit of the city. It is
located in the west, on the Atlantic Ocean coast
where the river Tagus flows into the Atlantic.
The historic centre of Lisbon is built on seven
hills, and some of the city's streets too steep
for cars or buses. Around the historical center,
there are several administratively defined
cities like Loures, Amadora or Oeiras that
represent a part of the metropolitan perimeter
of Lisbon. Monsanto Natural Park occupies most
of the western side of the city, and is one of
the largest urban parks in Europe.
Our Portuguese Language School in Lisbon is a
Private Educational Organisation established in
Portugal in 1972, and officially recognized by
the Portuguese Ministry of Education. All
members of staff are native university graduates
with special qualifications and experience in
the teaching of Portuguese. We are proud of our
reputation, which we have acquired by offering a
friendly personal service of the highest
standard. We also organize excursions,
historical tours, visits to bars, restaurants,
museums, shows and exhibitions, both in Lisbon
and outside. Students interested in sports can
also combine their Portuguese lessons with
sporting activities.
Porto in the north of Portugal is very
different from Lisbon and is unashamedly
commercial. Its metropolitan area has a
population of over 1.5 million. The city's
fascination lies very much in the life of the
place, with its prosperous business core
surrounded by smart suburbs and elegant villas,
side by side with a heart of cramped streets and
ancient alleys that has been declared a UNESCO
World Heritage Classified Area.
Porto is world renowned for the wine of its
surrounding regions. For many visitors to Porto
and students at our institute, this is the focus
of their stay. Here you have innumerable
opportunities to visit vineyards, wine tasting,
producers, festivals, educational events, etc.
Since 1991, our Portuguese school in Porto our
school has been devoted to providing high
quality and personalized instruction in
