The mission of the Prague International Business School at the University of Economics is to offer an internationally recognized MBA degree study that meets the demanding requirements for this kind of study. The MBA study in our country is regarded as a postgraduate form of study which is part of life-long education. This is to be reflected in the content, duration, professional orientation and pedagogical quality of the study.

Ninety percent of the lecturers of our courses are professors from VŠE, while visiting professors from foreign universities and prominent managers engaged in practical duties also participate in the tuition. The courses are determined for postgraduate students of all fields (who have achieved at least a BA/BSc standard), and who have had at least two years of managerial practical experience.

The entrance exams consist in a test in logical thinking and a foreign language test (English or German). The tuition takes place in Czech, English or German. PIBS in conjunction with the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and the Graduate School of Management in Paris (ESCP-EAP) organizes tuition in English. It is accredited at MMU. The study course in German is organized in conjunction with the Europäische Wirtschaftshochschule Berlin (EAP).
