Diploma in Design Communication: This
program, springboards students into a career in
graphic design, packaging design, advertising
design, web and interactive media design.
 The Diploma focuses on each student’s creative
potential as well as nurture their skills and
abilities to develop themselves as unique and
confident individuals. Students will acquire the
necessary knowledge, skills and techniques to
creating an industry standard portfolio. This
course will help students develop an
understanding for graphic design, packaging,
advertising, interactive web and media design as
well as computer graphics animation, digital
imaging and video editing, basic perception and
theory.
This course is designed for those who have the
ambition to be involved in the creative
industries. The programme begins with the basic
fundamentals in design, therefore, students need
not enter the course with prior art, design or
technical knowledge. The Course designers and
lecturers are professionals and experts with
significant experience in both related
industries and art education.
This thirty two week programme is created to
bring students closer to a profession in Design
Communication while saving them time and
expense. As project based studying is a very
important part of the course, the School assists
all its students by giving each a desktop
computer to take home at no extra charge.
