South African School Of English:
SASE, a modern facility, is located in a secure, access-controlled building in the middle of Sea Point, Cape Town. The school occupies the upper-level of the building, which also houses a Japanese and a Lebanese restaurant. We are one minute away from the Sea Point beachfront and close to two major supermarkets. Table Mountain and the sandy beaches of Camps Bay is a short mini-bus taxi ride away. In addition, the famous Waterfront development is within walking distance (about 25 minutes) from the school.

At SASE we place a huge emphasis on the rapid improvement of our students and our well motivated teaching staff is always willing to help students with anything they may require in terms of their studies. Teachers are encouraged to improve their qualifications and all of them have a degree in English or English Language Teaching. Our Director of Studies holds a degree in English as well as the Cambridge University accredited CELTA qualification.
Our modern school consists of six classrooms, a kitchen, a student lounge, an internet usage area a teacher's room and reception area.
Courses:All levels, General English, 4 hours/day - 20 hours/week; General English Executive, 6 hours/day - 30 hours/week; Business English (International) 6 hours/day - 30 hours/week,Intermediate to Advanced; Business English (Specific) 6 hours/day - 30 hours/week, Private English Classes - One-on-one lessons, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, IELTS.
Facilities:
The school consists of 10 classrooms, a kitchen, a student lounge, an internet/media/computer room with 10 computers (our internet connection is wireless), a bar/entertainment area, a library and mini-cinema, a teacher's room and lounge and an administration/reception area. The school and entertainment area is equipped with cable television, all the facilities are modern and students are extremely welcome to use them.
At SASE we pride ourselves on the unique family atmosphere which we have managed to create since our inception and undertake to guard it jealously by never becoming just another „english factory”.
The school Directors and staff always makes sure that they know the name of each and every student and that students are made to feel welcome from the minute they arrive at the airport.
Accomodation:We offer the following accommodation options:
Homestay - with native speakers in their house. This kind of accommodation is available as excutive (own bathroom) or non-executive and offer breakfast and sometimes supper.
Self-catering apartments or student house – available as executive or non-executive
Dormitory style accommodation – minimum 2 and maximum 4 persons per room
Hotel – available on reuqest
Guesthouse – available on request
Activities:
A dedicated activities desk is situated in the area joining the reception and a rich social programme awaits you. The programmes are designed to offer students the opportunity to interact with and speak to native speakers in everyday situations and it is the policy of the school not to hand over our students to outside tour operators. On each and every activity/excursion arranged and ran by the school, a member of staff will always be present.
