 Accommodation:

AccommodationHomestay
South African host-families are well known for their friendliness and hospitality. Your “host-family” could be a single woman, an older couple or a young couple with children. Either way, staying with a family will give you a unique insight into South African lifestyle.
You may book a single or double room and your family will supply you with breakfast and dinner. Travel distance to both schools is very short, with only a few families living as far as 45 minutes from the school. In the Southern Suburbs, all host-families stay in private houses with gardens, while in the city centre most stay in apartments.
Homestay-Plus
Homestay-Plus is recommended for older students and for those who would like to enjoy a higher level of comfort. You will benefit from a private bathroom and a generally higher standard of amenities. Travel distance to school is also shorter on average.
Student residence
If you prefer to be independent, want to mix with other students, socialise easily and want to practice your newly acquired knowledge of English at a bar rather than with a host-family, then this is for you.
The Student Residence is situated in the suburb of Observatory. This is a lively suburb with many young people and lots of trendy bars and restaurants close to the residence.
You will be accommodated in a single room and share the bathroom with 4 other students. There is a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and a lounge with TV and DVD. Each room is equipped with a safe and there is WLAN available at an extra charge.
Student House
Being the most affordable form of accommodation, it is usually the choice of our younger, long-term students (minimum 4 weeks). You share a double room with another student and the bathroom with up to 4 other students. There is a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, a lounge with TV and DVD and a garden. WLAN is available at an extra charge.
The Student House is within walking distance of both school buildings in the Southern Suburbs and about 30 minutes travel distance to the City Centre school.

Other accommodation
There are a number of reasonably priced hostels available for City Centre students. We recommend booking well in advance, especially during high season.
Bed & Breakfasts for almost any budget can be booked for both centres. In the Southern Suburbs, they are often within walking distance while in the City Centre you will need to take a bus or taxi.

 Location:

The English language school is located in a beautiful office building in the pedestrian walkway of St. Georges Mall. Here you feel the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the multicultural blend the city is so well known for. The language school is a short distance to the Metrorail and bus station. St. Georges Mall offers a lively atmosphere full of artists, shops and business people.

 Facilities:

We believe that a language school in the city centre must fulfill the same criteria as a school in the suburbs. We have therefore chosen a location that is close to public transport, but more importantly, is located on a pedestrian walkway. Here you can study in the middle of a busy city without being disturbed by traffic noise.
The interior design creates a modern African atmosphere. In addition to fully equipped classrooms, the language school offers break room areas where students can enjoy free coffee and tea, computer-based self-study programmes, free internet access for e-mailing and Wifi. At break times there is an atrium area for students to relax in.
