Official starting dates 2005: 03 Jan, 31 Jan, 28 Feb, 29 Mar, 25 Apr, 23 May, 20 Jun, 18 Jul, 15 Aug, 12 Sep, 10 Oct, 07 Nov, 05 Dec. Where Monday is a public holiday courses start on Tuesday. Only One-to-One tuition missed due to public holidays will be made up at other times.

Accommodation
Accommodation is an important part of your stay in a foreign country. At Good Hope Studies we offer a great variety of accommodation to meet your needs. Our accommodation officer knows all accommodation providers in person and inspects them regularly. The accommodation officer also assists you in making the right choices and is available during your stay to attend to your queries.
Homestay:
Staying with a host-family affords an insight into the South African life-style, while giving you the opportunity to reinforce newly acquired language skills. A host-family can be a traditional family, a young couple or a single woman. However, what they have in common is their interest in meeting people from all over the world and quickly making them feel comfortable. Many families are within walking distance of the school or within a few stations by Metrorail.
Homestay-Plus:
Homestay-Plus is suitable for those who wish to stay with a family and enjoy greater comfort. The families available are close to the school and offer a higher standard of living. A private bathroom is included.
Student residence:
The student residence is ideally situated in a popular student district close to pubs and restaurants and only 4 stations by Metrorail from the school. The single rooms are basic, yet with modern furnishings and 5 rooms share one bathroom. It is the right choice for those who are young, or feel young, and wish to be more independent.
Shared self-catering apartments:
For those who are staying in Cape Town for a longer period of time, the shared self-catering apartment can be the best choice. The fully furnished apartments offer single and double rooms, cooking facilities, a bathroom and a common room.
Bed & Breakfasts and Hotels:
Several Bed & Breakfasts as well as a popular 3-star and an excellent 4-star hotel are in close proximity to the school. Single and double rooms with private bathrooms are available.
