A range of English Language Programmes. In our courses the students will actively participate in the lectures. From our previous experience we have learned that the minimum duration for an English course should not be less than two weeks.

Homestay
Cape Town Language Centre encourages students to opt for the Homestay scheme, where students choose to live with a host family. The language and cultural benefits are enormous and valuable life-long friendships can be formed. Living in a Homestay is an ideal way of becoming familiar quickly with a new culture and environment, and there is greater progress in English as this is the main language in the homes. Due to the multicultural nature of South African society, these families are very diverse in their ethnic origin, religion, age, and family situation.
Hotel
There are several hotels to choose from in and around the city all ranging in price and depending on the season. This is only recommended for a short term student as this could become an expensive option.
Guesthouses / Bed & Breakfast
Guesthouses are normally small self catering apartments in and around the city ranging in price and depending on the season. This can be recommended for short and long term students as these prices differ from hotel prices.
Backpacker
A backpacker is a type of a hostel where you get to either stay in a dorm room with other people or in a double or single room. You will find many travellers staying in backpackers as this is always the most inexpensive accommodation. You will have kitchen and bathroom facilities available to you on a sharing basis. This is recommended for a short term stay.

There’s even the internet room to keep you in contact with friends and family back home.
