Bordeaux International School:
Conveniently located in the centre of historic Bordeaux, southwestern France, on the Atlantic coast, the school is purpose-built around a secure, enclosed and partially covered courtyard, which provides a space for pupils across the school to socialise with each other.
The school’s central location makes it easily accessible: an important consideration given the school’s international make-up. There are excellent train, bus and tram links, as well as the international airport less than 15 kilometres away.
Location and Facilities:
The primary and secondary areas of the school are housed in individual self-contained buildings, adjacent to the school hall. The hall is used regularly for clubs, music lessons and drama lessons, as well as our school shows which take place twice a year.
Our facilities include a science laboratory, private study areas, and an expanding library for all ages with materials in French and English. Students also have access to an olympic-size swimming pool, gymnasium and sports fields.

DIRECTIONS FROM PARIS - A10 (towards the Pont d'Aquitaine)
On the A10, follow the signs for Mérignac, which will lead you to the big suspension bridge (le Pont d'Aquitaine). Cross the bridge and follow signs for " Bordeaux-Centre Ville and/or Boulevards ". Avoid blue 'motorway' signs (rocade) and follow the white or green signs. Continue to follow signs for the "Boulevards" which is one long inner ring road that has different names and which begins with "Boulevard Alienor d'Aquitaine". Once you are on the boulevard, move into the right-hand lane but keep going straight on (follow signs for Mérignac airport). Follow the road and go straight on through "Place Ravesies" after which the name of the boulevard will change to "Boulevard Godard". Along the boulevard, the various major crossroads have names that begin with "Barrière". When appropriate, move into the left-hand lane and go straight through the various traffic lights until you see the panel which indicates you are approaching "Barrière Judaïque". Keep in the left-hand lane. You will see a 'Total' service station on your left at traffic lights with a lane for turning left into a road called "Rue Georges Bonnac". Turn left into this road. Turn left at the second turning into a street called Rue de Vincennes. Go straight on until you reach a second set of traffic lights. Turn left on to Rue Judaïque. The school is immediately on your left-hand side. PARKING : Rue Judaïque is a one-way street leading from the city centre out towards the boulevards. Visitors have to find a parking space either on the Rue Judaïque or in one of the other surrounding side streets.
