Instituto Hemingway:
Instituto Hemingway (accredited by the Cervantes Institute) is a middle-sized private school located in the city center of Bilbao in romantic Northern Spain since 1999. We are not only a "Spanish School", we are an "Institute for Languages and Cross-Cultural Training".

Instituto Hemingway offers Spanish courses throughout the year in different locations, excellent opportunities to undertake internships in professional companies and paid jobs in hotels. Furthermore, we offer international volunteer programs and diverse possibilities with University semester programs.

No matter which program you choose, how long you stay, where you want to go or what language you speak, our goal is to help our participants fully immerse themselves in another culture. Each program is structured to help you learn about the language, customs and lifestyles of the local people.

The Spanish classes are focused on the essentials of language acquisition: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Lessons are lively and interactive, with discussions, projects, role-playing, and specific tasks. Your progress is carefully monitored and your weaker points in the language are corrected immediately.

Bilbao:
Bilbao offers students a dazzling array of cultural events and institutions, educational resources, entertainment, sport events as well as restaurants, markets, shops and services of every kind imaginable. It is surrounded by mountains and beautiful beaches with an ideal climate of an average year-round temperature of 20ºC. Our Spanish language school in Bilbao is conveniently located in the city centre, near Abando station and the Arriaga Theatre.
