- Short -Term Programs (1 week to 11 weeks)
The Short Duration Spanish Language programs are designed to immerse participants in Spanish. Participants gain valuable information about modern-day Spanish culture and society and improve overall communicative skills. These programs are designed to focus on all aspects of the language developing reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary.
- Long-Term Programs (12 weeks to 23 weeks)
The Long Duration Spanish Language program is designed to immerse participants in Spanish. It is ideal for those who intend to devote a significant amount of time to learning and mastering the language. Participants gain valuable information about modern-day Spanish culture and society and improve overall communicative skills. These programs are designed to focus on all aspects of the language developing reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. Throughout the program, participants improve rapidly in the language and become acquainted with the Spanish lifestyle and customs.
- Academic Year Spanish Language Programs (24 weeks or longer)
The Academic Year Spanish Language programs are designed to immerse participants in Spanish. Participants gain valuable information about modern-day Spanish culture and society and improve overall communicative skills. These programs are designed to focus on all aspects of the language developing reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. They are ideal for those who intend to devote a significant amount of time to learning and mastering the language. Throughout the program, participants improve rapidly in the language and become acquainted with the Spanish lifestyle and customs.
Start every Monday throughout the year. All levels from Total Beginner to Advanced are available. Classes are held at the Academy of Spanish Studies, Centro de Estudios Internacionales, one of Spain's leading institutions specialized in Spanish language studies.
- Study & Travel (12 - 52 weeks). Choose to study in at least two locations
The Study and Travel Spanish Language program is a unique program designed to immerse participants in Spanish as they study in different locations: Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella, Salamanca or Valencia. The program is ideal for those who intend to devote a significant amount of time to learning and mastering the language while becoming acquainted with the different lifesty le and customs in various regions of Spain. Choose to study in at least two locations. Participants gain valuable information about modern-day Spanish culture and society and improve overall communicative skills. The program is designed to focus on all aspects of the language developing reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. The high standard of teaching methodology, program curriculum and design is uniformly adopted in all locations. This allows participants to continue their studies as they move from one location to another.
- Homestay Programs - stay with a Spanish Host Family
Live with a Spanish family and learn about the culture and traditions whilst improving your Spanish in a welcoming home. Host families have been interviewed and selected by on site staff. Factors taken into account include the cleanliness and comfort of the home; nature of meals (breakfast and evening meals are varied and balanced); family presence and their ability to welcome international guests. Families are located in near to the school in general 10 to 20 minutes walking or by public transportation.
- Spanish Language & Literature - 4 week program
This Spanish Language and Literature Combination Program is a 4 week program offered in Madrid and Salamanca, combining intensive Spanish Language with studies in Spanish Literature. The program aims to enrich participant's understanding of the language through a study of Spanish Literature. Participants immerse in the language, improving their linguistic and communicative skills, and deepening their knowledge about Spain. It is designed for participants who have at least a high intermediate Spanish level.

- DELE Examination Preparation - Total immersion program
This D.E.L.E Exam Preparation Program is specifically designed to prepare students to pass the D.E.L.E. examinations. There are three different D.E.L.E. diplomas corresponding to three levels of Spanish: Certificado Inicial (C.I.E.), Spanish Elementary Level Certificate; Diploma Basico (D.B.E.), Spanish Intermediate Level Diploma; and Diploma Superior (D.S.E), Spanish Advanced Level Diploma. This program has resulted in 100% pass rate for students from 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002. The examinations are held in May, August and November, and the exact dates are released a month before the exams by Instituto Cervantes. Participants of this program may change to the Spanish Language Intensive Program (25 classes a week) if they do not have the necessary skills to pass the desired level. This program involves intense language classes and for additional immersion in language and culture, after class workshops are provided at no additional cost. Students are given ample opportunity to use Spanish and take part in a comprehensive learning experience. The overall aim of the program is to prepare students for the D.E.L.E examination, as well as instill the linguistic, practical, and cultural aspects of the language as well as the Spanish way of life.
Christmas in Spain Program
This unique course is designed to immerse students in Spanish language and Spaniard culture and traditions during Christmas, through class instruction, excursions and cultural acitivities. Curriculum is aimed at providing students with a comprehensive educational learning experience of Christmas in Spain.

These specially tailored programs are designed to offer a fully personalized method of teaching according to the student's specific needs and requirements. Classes are private and curriculum is flexible to allow the student to decide the schedule and content.
- Spanish Summer Camp for Children/Teens/Young Adults - for ages 5 to 18 years old
This unique Spanish Language Program immerses children and young adults, ages 5 to 18 years old, in Spanish language and culture. The program combines language classes, sports and leisure activities, and guided excursions, allowing participants to rapidly improve their Spanish while enjoying their summer holidays. More than 60% of the participants are Spanish, while 40% come from 30 different countries. This offers an international atmosphere and a perfect environment for language development and culture exchange. The summer camp program is designed to provide the most comprehensive and balanced curriculum for young learners.
This Summer Camp program is held in Madrid, the capital of Spain. One of the advantages of this summer camp is the capital city's central geographical location. Within a few hours, participants can get to nearby Spanish cities including Salamanca, Toledo, Avila, Segovia, Granada, Seville, and Cordoba. Other Summer Camp programs are held in Marbella and Salamanca.
- Golden Age (50+) in Marbella - Spanish for seniors
Learn to master Spanish in the heart of Marbella, one of southern Europe’s most exclusive summer resorts famous for its beautiful beaches, golf courses, luxury hotels, vibrant life, and rich culture. Marbella is situated on the Costa del Sol, Spain’s region of Andalusia, and boasts 27 kilometers (17 miles) of beachfront and a total of 24 different beaches. Classes are taught in the leading Academy of Spanish Studies, located a 5-minute walk from the beach. The Academy has excellent facilities including fully equipped classrooms, computers for Internet use, a student common room, a large 2000 square meter terrace, and a video library. The Academy is easily accessibly by public transportation.
Within this central location students can stroll through the narrow streets of Casco Antigua (Old Town) lined with quaint shops and sidewalk cafés to the historic church and bell tower and view La Trinidad and San Francisco convents and the crumbling walls of the Moorish castillo. For art lovers the Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo exhibits works by renowned Spanish artist, Picasso, Dalí and Miró.
Spanish for Teachers Program in Madrid
This unique Spanish Language Program, held in Madrid, is designed for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language and those who wish to extend and update their knowledge of teaching a foreign language. This program is made up of two independent yet complementary programs (Program 1 and Program 2), each of which is two weeks long. Participants learn modern teaching methodologies as well as the latest innovative teaching techniques of teaching Spanish as a foreign language in both linguistic and extra-linguistic fields. This course is especially designed to extend and update knowledge on teaching Spanish as a foreign language, and to refresh participants' knowledge of the language itself. Teachers will have the opportunity to refresh, renew and improve their teaching methods and learn the latest innovative teaching technologies of Spanish as a foreign language.
