Intensive Spanish:
This is perfect for th
ose who want to combine language classes and business obligations.
This course consists of 20 lessons per week. It's the perfect course for those who want to combine a holiday or a business trip in our country with language classes. Also, if you are looking for a less intensive daily schedule this is the right course for you. Students can choose a course length to suit their needs and goals, lasting from 1 to 24 weeks. In these sessions you willl be able to significantly improve you Spanish, whether you are an complete beginner or an advanced student. This is a comprehensive program that uses a variety of teaching methods such as textbook study, listening comprehensions, pronunciation practice and grammar lessons.
In this course you will learn Spanish in a relaxed and friendly environment. Everyday you will learn key grammatical points with minimal effort and also enhance your vocabulary. The free time gives you the opportunity to explore Málaga and get to know the Spanish culture.
Spanish language skills on the Intensive Course:
This course focuses on integrating the key skills of the spanish langauge, especially speaking and oral comprehension. The emphasis is on communication skills, with the aim of improving fluency and confidence in speaking Spanish. Teachers make use of course books, but also supplement lessons with authentic materials.
Intensive Plus Spanish:
This is another interesting course with 25 lessons per week.
Super-Intensive Spanish:
This course is designed for those who are looking for an intensive course aimed at quick progress in Spanish.

Business Spanish:
Spanish language courses for business people, aimed at professionals of all levels. Our business Spanish language courses are tailor-made (4 lessons in a group + 2 private lessons) to individual learning needs, to give the confid
ence to improve your Spanish language fluency at work.
Discover a new aspect of the Spanish language- spanish as it is used in the business world. In this course students will look at the formal language that is used in meetings, business environments and work-contracts. This course is designed to increase your knowledge on topics such as administration, sales, diplomacy, financial matters and tourism. Classes start every Monday at any time of the year.
You would also learn how to talk in Spanish about your job, how to answer the phone/make phone calls/send emails/introduce yourself etc in a businesslike way, as well as learn about the business practices and culture of Spain and Latin American countries.
The Business Spanish Course consists of 30 hours a week. That´s four hours in a group and two private lessons daily. This course is only suitable for people who already speak and understand Spanish at a certain level (ie. not for beginners). The goal is to learn how to correctly structure sentences, how to define business concepts and how to speak and write Spanish as it is used in the business world. Some examples of topics covered on this course are: general business correspondence, discussion of business topics, negotiations, role-plays in business situations, learning how to create a company in Spain, commercial law and the position of Spain in the international market.
This course is ideal for those who wish to work in any branch of business in Spain or Latin America, such as people working in banking, insurance and the import/export sector. Spanish has become one of the most important world economic languages, which is no surprise considering that world-wide there are approximately 400 million people who speak Spanish and that many Spanish-speaking countries have experienced major economic development in the past few years, increasing their importance on international markets.
Commercial Spanish:
This course aims at teaching students how to communicate in a more professional manner in the business world (corretly structured speech etc)

Summer Courses:
Summer Courses are Holiday Courses with a maximum of 10 students per group. This course combines classes with a large variety of outdoor activities.
DELE:
The D.E.L.E., Diploma Inicial de Español como Lengua Extranjera (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language), is the only Spanish diploma that is recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
There are three D.E.L.E levels: Beginner level, Intermediate level and Advanced level. There are two oficial exam periods in May and November, and an extra one in August.
At the Alhambra Instituto we can prepare you for all three levels of the D.E.L.E exam. To obtain the 'Inicial' diploma, students require at least an intermediate level, for the 'Intermedio' diploma an advanced level and for the 'Superior' a superior level to begin the course.There are over 100 testing centers all over the world. The Alhambra Instituto Internacional offers an Intensive 1 to 4 week preparation course to obtain this internationally recognised diploma.
The course length is 1 to 4 weeks with four group lessons and one individual les
son every day.
The structure of the course is as follows: in the four hours of group lessons students work on general language skills covering the four principal skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. In the individual lessons students will look at past papers and specific materials related to the D.E.L.E exam.
There has been a very high pass rate (more than 95%) among students who have studied for the D.E.L.E here at the Alhambra Instituto.
