Academia Columbus is located in Santo Domingo de Heredia, Costa Rica. The school is just minutes away from central Heredia and downtown San Jose. Spanish classes start every Monday of the year. Choose from private or group instruction. Accommodations are with host families. Each week our school will offer a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions.

Language School and Spanish classes
Our language school is located close to the centre of Santo Domingo de Heredia, a mere two-minute walk from the bus stop from which you can take a bus to San José and Heredia. Our modern and nicely furnished building has 15 bright and spacious classrooms on three floors, offering a comfortable learning environment. Students can enjoy the gardens surrounding the school facilities during breaks.

Course Offering
Language courses begin every Monday of the year for all language levels. Our lessons are 60 minutes in length. In addition to small group and private instruction, we also offer combination courses. You can select from the following language courses:

Mini group Classes - Regular Course
20 lessons of 60 minutes
Students per class: avg. 3, max. 5
Tuition: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Mini group Classes - Intensive Course
30 lessons of 60 minutes

Students per class: avg. 3, max. 5
Tuition: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Combined Classes Plus 10 - Intensive Course
20 lessons mini group classes plus
10 lessons individual classes of 60 minutes
Students per class: avg. 3, max. 5 or 1
Tuition: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Individual Classes - Regular Course
20 lessons of 60 minutes
Students per class: 1
Tuition: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
