Personalized Spanish is a small, boutique Spanish language school located in an upper middle class neighborhood in San Jose, Costa Rica. We offer Spanish courses for adults, seniors and children from around the world at all levels - beginner, intermediate & advanced.

Entre Volcanes Spanish Academy is a Spanish language school in in the wonderful valley of Turrialba (64 kilometers from the capital city, San José) in Costa Rica. We provide group Spanish classes and private Spanish lessons to students from around the world. We offer personalized attention in a warm, professional and friendly atmosphere. Our teachers are native speakers and experts at teaching Spanish to students of all skill levels. Classes are taught with six students maximum.
We offer the possibility of having classes in a green and safe area, surrounded by a beautiful landscape, including an active volcano and near to a small town with all the services. We organize cultural activities every week and tours at reasonable prices. Students who are interested can participate in volunteer work.
We pick students up at the airport. We guarantee access to handicapped people. Coffee and tea are available for free at break time.
Students meet for 4 hours from Monday through Friday in groups of 6 students maximum (most of the time we have 3 or 4 as maximum).

Our Institute is located in the capital of Costa Rica, San José, in the eastern part called Guadalupe, about 400 m from the State University (Universidad de Costa Rica) and 10 minutes from downtown (using the public bus). San José is situated in the interior of the country, buses leave to every part of the country from here. This makes it easy to reach the beaches, e.g. it is just a 2 hours bus ride to get to Jacó Beach. The aim of the Instituto de Español Costa Rica is to enable students to really communicate in the Spanish language. For this reason our methodology is based on a new concept of Total Immersion in the Spanish language.
All materials integrate Spanish language education in the four linguistic abilities: speaking, comprehension, reading and writing. Our students can decide between small group or individual classes, or Specialized Spanish Programs.
