La Escuela Del Sol in Costa Rica is an immersion program for people who want to learn Spanish fast while having an adventure in a tropical paradise. We offer a 1 to 4 week, college level, Spanish language program as well as additional courses for adventure and self enhancement which can be combined with Spanish classes.
Whether you want to learn fire dancing, surfing, obtain scuba certification or practice yoga, there is a course for you. We even offer College Credit for our Spanish curriculum! All of our teachers have achieved college degrees and teach a university level curriculum to guarantee you a top of the line education.
We're located in Montezuma, a picturesque little town known for its tranquility, its beauty and its sense of adventure, on the eastern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. Personalized Spanish is a small, boutique Spanish language school located in an upper middle class neighborhood in San Jose, Costa Rica. We offer Spanish courses for adults, seniors and children from around the world at all levels - beginner, intermediate & advanced.
Our personalized approach is at the center of our educational philosophy. Most of our students learn Spanish in private or semi-private lessons of 2 students, or small group Spanish classes with no more than 3 students per teacher. This creates a warm and supportive atmosphere that resulted in our wining several International Awards being voted the best small Spanish school in Costa Rica.
Before the student arrives a personalized learning plan is prepared based on their reason for studying Spanish; their areas of interest and their learning style. We offer seven different program options as well as the flexibility to add additional hours of private class time. Homestays with Costa Rican families or other types of housing options are available as well as volunteer opportunities.

We are a school of Spanish immersion, located in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica and also in the beautiful islands of Bocas Del Toro, Panama. We offer various academic programs, such as Spanish only, Spanish and Surf, Spanish and Scuba Dive, Spanish and Dance, Spanish and Adventure and Spanish and Volunteer.
We offer classes from a complete beginner, intermediate, advanced and superior (ACTFL). It is equivalent to European levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. Our approach to education is casual and relaxed but at the same time we take teaching Spanish seriously and make sure that our students benefit as much as possible from their time with us. We are very customer oriented and will assist our students in any way we can to make sure that our clients are happy while with us and leave even happier.

Based in Port Hadlock, Washington, Experience Mission is a Christian mission organization offering a 6 month immersion program in the Caribbean region that starts by serving in one of South Atlanta's toughest neighborhoods before volunteering abroad in Haiti, Jamaica and Costa Rica. Experience Mission also offers a mission program in Africa, that starts in the Native American Navajo Nation of northeastern Arizona, before travelling to South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana. We currently do not provide Spanish classes as part of our program in Costa Rica.
You will experience everything from the bustling inner city to the remotest parts of the rain-forest, building authentic relationships and partnering with local leaders to create sustainable change.
Our mission programs can be divided into three areas of focus: Volunteer Mobilization, Leadership Development, and Community Empowerment. These three distinct focuses are inextricably bound and share the common purpose of spreading the love of Christ to a world in need.

Christian Mission Program (6 months):
- Immersion. Atlanta to Caribbean. Start in South Atlanta and then travel to Haiti, Jamaica and Costa Rica.
We also offer a Navajo to Africa program where participants travel to South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana.
We currently do not provide Spanish classes with our programs.

Costa Rican Language Academy, CRLA, has been providing high quality Spanish language instruction along with an authentic Latin American cultural experience since 1989. CRLA is completely owned and operated by Costa Ricans. All our professors have university degrees as well as ample training and experience. Our Spanish immersion program includes Homestay with local families, Latin dance classes, Costa Rican cooking classes, additional conversation sessions, and other cultural activities. CRLA also has a volunteer program in San José with children, elderly people, or in ecological and conservation projects around the country.

El Paraiso Spanish Language School is located on the Pacific Coast near Manuel Antonio National Park, 2.5 hours by car or bus (or a 12 minute plane ride) from the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose. Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most visited parks of Costa Rica and offers exceptionally beautiful beaches and extraordinary biodiversity. At our school you are truly in "paraiso" (paradise). Our school is located only 15 minutes by car or bus from the beach and just a few minutes by car or bus from downtown Quepos. The school's park-like location has its own range of wildlife, such as monkeys and tropical birds.

Instruction in Spanish language with 20 hours a week in a group of max. 5 students, private class 15 or 20 hours a week, 1 hour of conversation free 3 times/week for all interested students. The Spanish school in Manuel Antonio , Costa Rica was started in 1992 and is today recognized as one of the best Spanish language schools in Costa Rica. In addition to offering excellent Spanish language programs, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location within Costa Rica. The school itself sits on the side of a mountain overlooking the Manuel Antonio Beach Park Area and the Pacific. Classrooms are comfortable, and are situated both inside the building and outside on the comfortable patio. This school is the perfect option for those who want to get away from to the beaches and natural parks of Costa Rica, while at the same time learning Spanish.
When students arrive at the Spanish school in Manuel Antonio, they are given an oral proficiency interview to determine their level. Based on this interview, they are placed tentatively in one of six levels. Once placed in a class, students will experience the schools' total immersion methodology. Classes are conducted completely in Spanish. The school uses custom designed curriculum and text materials.

Group Classes: 4 lessons per day in class sizes of no more than 6 individuals. Average class size ranges from 4-8 students. During four lessons sessions, students participate actively in a small group environment. Each student is assured attention to their individual academic needs. If total immersion becomes a difficulty, we offer supplemental instruction in English once a week in order to clarify any doubts.

The School of the World is a traveler's education school located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the town of Playa Jaco. The programs offered at the school are some of the most original and innovative options available for travelers today, offering more learning vacation options than any other language school or surf camp in Costa Rica. Costa Rica's beautiful countryside, friendly native Spanish speaking people, and stunning beaches form the perfect backdrop for studying Spanish, surfing, yoga, and digital photography. Lodging is included (double occupancy, private room available for an additional cost), and all of our guest rooms at the school are air conditioned with private bathrooms and kitchen access. The school is in a centrally located and quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the beach. In the event that the rooms are full at our main location we provide similar accommodations nearby. We are also offering Homestay.

Our current program offerings include Spanish, Surfing, yoga, and Digital Photography (and combinations of these can be taken as well). Programs begin every Monday (with check-in to the school on Sunday) and we have one, two and four weeks programs. Field trips, textbooks and surfboards are included with the programs. College credit available.
