We are dedicated to promoting intercultural understanding between young people throughout the world. We specialize in summer Spanish language immersion programs for middle and high school students, and offer exciting summer study trips based in Costa Rica. Our two fantastic study programs provide unique opportunities for teens to learn Spanish in Costa Rica with the choice of staying with host families or in a small safe dormitory.

Courses / Programs:
A 2-week Spanish language experience program designed for middle school students and high school freshmen; High school students can choose a 3-week program with host family immersion, small group classes.
The CPI program limits group size to 30 students and the Grecia program limits group size to 26. Both include three full-time adults: one trip leader and two additional chaperones. This is an ideal size in terms of student bonding, personal attention, organization, and safety – always our number one priority.
Our chaperones are selected on the basis of language ability, maturity, patience, judgment, enthusiasm, personal integrity, and their ability to earn the respect and trust of our teenage participants. Most of them are Spanish teachers who have traveled abroad extensively, and all are committed to promoting intercultural understanding between young people throughout the world.
Join Edu-Culture International (ECI) for the experience of lifetime! Travel with us to Costa Rica this summer, take intensive language classes, live with a host family or in a dorm and make new friends that will last a lifetime!

Prior to your child’s departure, ECI will provide you with all necessary contact information, phone numbers, and a detailed meeting place and time. Once we have met your child, we will take him/her to meet the main group. Rest assured that someone will meet your child and make sure that he/she gets to the right place. The Meet and Greet is also available for the return trip, and we highly recommend it in either direction if your child is not traveling with the group. Remember that airline schedules are always subject to change.
