International School in Bangkok - HIS Harrow Primary, Secondary
 One of the most famous schools in Britain is
Harrow School and in 1998 it granted an
agreement to open a second school, Harrow
International School (HIS) in Bangkok. Due to
the resounding success of HIS, it moved to a new,
magnificently large 75-acre campus in Sept 2003,
a mere 10 minutes drive from Bangkok Int. Airport.
At this green, clean,
secure location, away from the traffic &
pollution of the inner city, a typical British
Day & Boarding school education is being
provided for an international group of 1140 boys
& girls, aged 2 to 18 representing 29 different
nationalities, taught predominantly by British
staff. It is both fully
licensed to operate as a school and is a member
of the Council of International Schools (CIS),
Federation of British International Schools in
South East Asia (FOBISSEA) and International
Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT).
At HIS,
the medium of instruction is English and it
offers a wide ranging educational programme
leading to IGCSE, A/S and A Level examinations,
which qualify pupils for direct admission to top
Universities in UK, Australia and USA. In
Sept 2003, the school also opened an Early Years
Centre in the Ekamai Soi 4, Sukhumvit 63 Rd.
This caters for children aged 6 months to 6
