The full-time and part-time MBA programmes are based on the same philosophy of integrative management from the St. Gallen Management Model and share much of the same content and faculty. We also limit both classes to no more than 50 participants in order to foster both a healthy pedagogical environment as well as a closeknit and durable network. Small class sizes also enable us to provide a high level individualised career services and coaching, as well as facilitating close interaction with faculty and guest speakers.

Full-time & Part-time MBA Programs:

Full-time & Part-time MBA ProgramsThe Full and Part-time MBA programmes are divided into three parts. The core modules focus on a range of general management subjects. Electives are then offered, and students may select out of the 22 modules offered. The MBA project or Thesis is carried out in the third part, and a mandatory capstone course is conducted prior to graduation.

The Full-time MBA programme is completed in 12 months and all modules are offered at the MBA campus building close to the center of St.Gallen.

The Part-time MBA programme is designed for young executives desiring to pursue an MBA and continue working. It can be completed in 18 to 36 months with both a Fall and Spring intake. This allows you to balance your personal and work commitments working between 60-100% at the same time as having the benefit of an MBA education. The programme shares the same high level of academic and practically relevant content as the Full-time MBA, but offers a flexible learning model.

Each programme and intake at the MBA has its own unique benefits and advantages and we would be happy to talk to you about your choices and suitability.

Programme for Leadership Development (PLD):
In addition to the MBA programmes, we also offer the Programme for Leadership Development (PLD). The PLD comprises 10 monthly modules of core General Management curriculum from the Part-time MBA programme. PLD graduates have the option of continuing their studies by applying for a place in the Part-time MBA.

Language of Instruction:
All of our programmes are taught entirely in English. Students are encouraged to take advantage of complementary language courses. German language classes are mandatory for participants not speaking German.

The City of St.Gallen:

The religious foundation district that has been granted World Cultural Heritage status by UNESCO, not least due to its world-famous library containing, amongst countless books of immeasurable value, parchment manuscripts more than 1000 years old.

History:
The city of St. Gallen owes its name and its existence to the Irish wandering monk Gallus, who came from Lake Constance around 612 to the high valley of Steinach. In the 8th century a monastery was erected around his cell, as was the city later on. In the monastery St.Gallen art and science were avidly pursued, as can be seen in the world renowned library, where you can marvel over the many books and artefacts. The foundation of the library's tremendous literary treasure was laid down in the Middle Ages. The ancient monastery edifices, however, did not withstand time as well; they were torn down in the mid-18th century. At that time the present baroque buildings were erected alongside the splendid Cathedral (1755–1766).

Today:

Today St.Gallen is the 7th largest city in Switzerland. It is a regional centre, has a University, theatre, concert hall, museums, hospitals and is the seat of the bishop. Its ideal location between Lake Constance and Mount Säntis, and its well preserved historical old town provide a wide range of sights as well as a series of intriguing events throughout the year, making this Eastern Swiss metropolis a favourite one for the thousands of visitors who pass through here each and every year.
