The school is only a short walk away from the banks of the river Thames where you can see Westminster, the Houses of Parliament and the new Millennium Big Wheel - The London Eye. Across the river you will find yourself in the West End which offers you all the entertainment you could need from pubs to West End theatres and clubs.
Waterloo is excellent for public transport with its underground, buses and the busy British Rail station, where you can reach the centre of Paris in just 3 hours.

Situated in a modern, well equipped, purpose-built building, CL English offers seven comfortable classrooms, a computer area with internet access, a book borrowing facility to help improve your reading and understanding skills, and coin-operated snack & hot and cold drink machines.
Comfortable student accommodation is available in the building adjacent to the school. A bed in one of our shared hostel rooms can be booked on a self-catering basis. Rooms are equipped with beds, shared desks and cupboards and shelves for storage. Bathrooms and kitchens are shared and all communal areas are cleaned daily by our maintenance team. Bed linen, kitchen utensils and cookware is provided but students should bring their own towels.

Students can book a bed in a twin, triple or quadruple room in our comfortably-furnished school residence. Rooms are equipped with shared desks, wardrobes and storage space for clothes and books with all rooms equipped with a fridge.

Shared bathroom facilities and toilets and a fully-equipped kitchen is available. Bed linen and kitchen utensils are provided but students are asked to bring their own towels.

A 24-hour reception team is always on hand to guarantee students' safety as well as provide advice & information. A common room with freeview TV and internet access, hot & cold drinks and snack machines is available.

All of our host families are carefully selected for their sympathetic approach to the needs of international language learners & students and are inspected on a regular basis to ensure that they meet Association of British Language Schools standards.

A choice of board type is available with families throughout London including breakfast only, breakfast & dinner (half board), breakfast, packed lunch & dinner (full board) or self-catering (students can use family kitchen facilities to prepare their own meals). Homestays can be arranged for a minimum of one week.

All of our host families are based within 45 minutes maximum travelling distance from school. Homestay accommodation is available in London zones 2 to 4. The price depends on the zone that you live in and also on the type of board that you require. You will not be placed with another guest of the same nationality unless you specifically request us to do so.
