St Brelade’s College is located on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, UK. The Channel Islands are located approximately 80 miles south of England, and 20 miles off the French coast. St Brelade’s College is beautifully situated above the picturesque harbour of St Aubin, a ten minute drive along the bay from Jersey’s main town, St Helier.

Courses
Short courses of 2, 3 & 4 weeks
Our short courses are designed for students wishing
to improve their communication skills. Students are taught in small classes by qualified teachers in a relaxed and friendly environment. All our courses include a lively activity and social programme to allow students to see the unique attractions in Jersey while getting to know their fellow students and practising their English. French classes are also available.
Longer courses of 8 weeks to 9 months are available as follows:
Intensive English Courses
Starting any Monday, all year round. 30 lessons per week in small classes plus activity and social programme
One-on-One individual tuition
20 or 30 lessons one-to-one lessons per week in which you can specialise in the subject area of your choice (e.g. Business English, Conversational English, English for special purposes)
Summer Holiday Courses
Starting any Monday (summer season only). 20 lessons per week in small classes plus extended activity and social programme. Summer Intensive Programs are also available.
Combination Courses
Combine 10 or 20 group lessons with a one to one programme. This is a good way of focusing on a specific language area (such as English for Business, English for Law, Medical English.) while obtaining extra conversational practice in the group lessons.
Examination Preparation
- Cambridge examination preparation for the First Certificate (FCE), Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE), Cambridge Proficiency Exam (CPE)
- IELTS and TOEFL test preparation courses
Courses for Young Learners
During school holidays, we run separate courses for teenagers. Our summer English school operates on three separate sites: St Brelade’s College (for adults), St Brelade’s Junior School (5 minutes from the main college, for ages 10-13) and Highlands College in town (for teenagers). Teenage students receive tuition in the morning and a choice of excursions and sports in the afternoon. Surfing, windsurfing, football and tennis are among the most popular sports included in our course fees.
