King Street College:
We are a large, friendly school in west London - just ten minutes from the centre. We have two sites: very close to each other in Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. We take adult students from all over the world on English language courses. We also have an excellent accommodation service placing students in local host families or our own student residence. Students will also find our social program a good place or make friends.

On your first Monday when you arrive to one of our schools in Shepherd's Bush or Hammersmith you will receive a friendly welcome. You will be given a booklet (Student Information) containing useful information about the College and living in London. We will give you an oral and grammar test to asses your level of English. After testing you will join your first class.

A full-time class (GE15) is fifteen hours per week. This includes breaks and private study time. The class contact time is two and a half hours per day. Classes consist of two lessons: 90 minutes followed by a coffee break and then a further 60 minute lesson. Full-time (GE15) classes are offered three times day; morning 9:00am-11:45am; mid-day 12:15pm-3:00pm and afternoon 3:15pm-6:00pm. Please choose when you book your course.

The maximum number of students in each class depends on the size of the class room. In some rooms the maximum is 24, in others 22. The average number of students per class is, however, 16. Small group options (conversation classes) have a strict maximum of 7 students.
