At our Residential Summer Schools, we concentrate on Oral & Listening skills. Students generally arrive with a rich background of grammar and vocabulary but lack conversational skills.

Our fully inclusive summer language courses run for 2-8 weeks with 15 hours (20 lessons) of English lessons each weekday morning plus afternoon sports, activities & excursions. Homestay courses.

Excursions

Each week there is one full day and one half day excursion to a local
place of interest. Destinations include cities such as London, Oxford,
Windsor, Manchester and Brighton (according to the college location)
Sports & Activities

Sports may include football, baseball, swimming, tennis, unihoc (indoor
/ outdoor hockey), cricket, volleyball and other team games.
Non-sporting activities may include arts and crafts, video film making
and treasure hunts. These activities form part of the daytime
programme.

Evening Entertainment

A full, varied and exciting evening entertainment programme runs every
evening, designed to ensure students go to bed tired but happy at the
end of each day!

All of our families have been carefully selected for their ability to
welcome students from other countries. Each family is vetted and
constantly monitored by Ardmore Language Schools and our Family Liaison
Co-ordinator to ensure that they provide a safe, secure and welcoming
